Pirate Life

We went on the ship for my kid's birthday and we had a great time. The staff were very helpful getting everyone on board and off safely, and it was very entertaining. The kids loved shooting the water cannons. It's a great trip for a birthday outing, especially if your kids love pirates!

My son (almost 4) was a little unsure at first, but the 'crew' were amazing at trying to involve him without pushing too hard. Once he got into it, he had so much fun. Later, on the playground at home, I was treated to an almost perfect reenactment of our pirate adventure, showing just how engaged he was!

Such a wonderful experience! My boys 8 and 4 LOVED Pirate Life, Ottawa. Thank you, Gnarly Marly and Hammerhead Holly for a fantastic performance, and of course the wonderful performer who was steering the ship - I wish I could remember her name! The gentleman at the shop was a great character and got us checked in quickly and provided us with our pre-paid Captain's Costume - all while remaining in character and providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend this experience for your family if you are in the Ottawa area. 5 Stars! Thank you.

We had a great time on the pirate ship! The staff did an excellent job especially considering they have to put on the show with less people given the current limits. My girls, 7, 5, and 3 loved the show and spraying the water canons. I would say, depending on your child, 7 or 8 might be the upper age limit for this (or maybe just until they can put on the fully staffed show again). We completed our outing with a picnic and playing in the huge park just down the path. It was a great day!
