I rented a bachelor here, 8 months age. I love this place.

One of the bests in Ottawa without any doubt.

Staff:
The staff are professional and responsive.

Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is quiet, super-friendly and safe (the building is located just next to the embassy of Croatia).

Building:
Great entrance for a building at this quality and price level (I love the outdoor pool). The common areas are always clean. They installed a new elevator last year. The laundry room is the cleanest I have ever seen. It is big and on the sixth floor, with many windows, which let it receive sunlight, which kills many sources of contamination. You insert a card (not stupid loonies! :D) to use the washers and dryers with a reasonable price. I never had any issue with the hot water, faucets, and the heating system. Every apartment has a built-in area for window-mounted air conditioners.

I am an international PhD student at uOttawa and hope everything goes well in my next months and hopefully years at this place, as it did over the past months.

Trust me. You will not regret renting an apartment at 255 Stewart.

Pros: highly responsive and professional staff (cleaning, rental and maintenance), large and bright apartments, elevator, pool, bbq area, garbage chutes, new laundry machines. Abundance of street parking. Easy to schedule viewings and very smooth rental process. Very close to uottawa. The building itself is spotless!
Cons: some neighbors are incredibly loud (dog barks at all hours of the night, for example). Some people also don't understand the concept of the outdoor pool closing at 10 PM and choose to swim there at 3 in the morning. However, all the negatives are due to people's lack of common sense as opposed to being the management's fault.
Overall, a truly fantastic and clean place to live in Sandy hill, for students and young professionals. CLV truly cares for their tenants and it shows. You'll feel at home at the Envoy.

A great and clean building (ideal for singles/couples). Very professional and responsive staffs. I enjoy living here for 2 years. The only thing are the noises from the student parties during weekends (bearable) and no range hood in the kitchen.

I’ve really enjoyed living here. Very knowledgeable staff, I had a water problem about a year ago and the maintenance guy was over in a reasonable amount of time. The building has indoor bike storage which to me was very important since I didn’t want to lug my bike up to my apartment every day and plus it keeps it safe. The BBQ area is great when I have friends over during the summer also the building has a lot of students which is nice since it’s a great place to meet people my age off of campus.
