Last winter a pipe burst in the basement powder room, causing water damage in an already shabby and deteriorating room. Also, it had been poorly insulated and chilly so was mostly unusable.

However, it was a tricky remodel. The link to the water main was in the vanity, with pipes from there to the waterheater and the rest of the house, through the side wall. Any vanity we chose would have to fit from wall to wall to disguise the pipes, and would have to be modified to accomodate the pipes.

Kulvinder Heer helped select a vanity that would fit and still give us drawers for storage, constructed it and arranged for the cuts to be made to the sides and back for the pipes. His team also modified the wall behind the sink so that the vanity could sit in front of the pipes as much as possible.

There were challenges with the toilet as well, since the position of the hole was too far back.

Throughout all the challenges, Kulvinder was helpful, responsive and professional. He always answered my emails promptly and kept things on schedule to the extent possible.
