  Went in the middle of the afternoon, got served fast, food was awesome and fresh! Really good service, staff is nice. Would recommend.

  Service is great, quality of food is phenomenal. We commute across the city to eat here. Would definitely recommend it!

  Some Biker friends of mine and I meet monthly in the colder months for lunch, and yesterday we decided to try something different, as we typically eat in the same restaurant. So we tried Japanese sushi and sashimi. We were impressed with Sapporo Sushi Ottawa. The decor was simple and clean, with the tables arranged so you feel like you are in a small private booth. Service was great - prompt and helpful. And the food ... awesome! And for a tasty and appetite fulfilling lunch (no alcohol ... I was driving), I left with change from a $20 bill after a good tip. Located across the street from the Canadian Tire store on Carling Avenue, Sapporo is easy to get to with lots of free parking in the neighbourhood. They also have take-out ... something different and tasty for supper on your way home from work maybe? Enjoy.

  A sit-down and order sushi restaurant that is fairly new on the scene. The decor needs improvement (plain pine wood dividers, mis-matched chairs and tables, ceiling that looks like the inside of a cave), but I guess people don't go here for the decor. The sushi was OK. Portions are good size. The service was fast and courteous. Glad I checked it out, but there are better options out there.

  One of my favourite sushi places in Ottawa! Food always prepared fresh and taste delicious; priced well for the portion, and tastes even better. Good selection of dishes. Signature rolls are excellent; very crafty and full of flavor.
  
  Otherwise, servers are attentive and very timely. Each table has those service buttons to call for them too when needed. Casual but ambient atmosphere.
