(January 21, 2019, 12:55 am)I ordered The Traditional breakfast. The food came promptly and I was happy with the portions. The "brown toast" I ordered (homemade molasses toast) was amazing and very filling!
I was hoping for more traditional homefries. I wasn't a fan of their version of it, and wasn't expecting it to be served in this fashion.
Also, the ketchup and jam were available as open jars sitting on each table. Although I didn't see any fruit flies, this concerns me and also I wonder about germs that could be spread from this.
(January 19, 2019, 10:39 pm)Food is always hot, coffee quite drinkable (not too acidic and definitely not burnt), one of my favourite places for brunch. No reservations mean you may have to wait a while, especially in the summer months. In the winter it's not too bad.
(January 7, 2019, 8:19 pm)Absolutely fantastic brunch food. I highly recommend it. Make sure you order the Banana Bread French Toast. You will be in heaven. Ideal time to go is around 1:30-2pm if you want to avoid the line on the weekends.
(January 3, 2019, 6:59 pm)Good food, but it takes longer to get it (and yes, good food takes time but this was a simple lunch... and it took approx 40 min for food arrival...) and you should be prepared to pay about 25%more then average pricing => BUT you will not get just an average visit - it's worth a visit from time to time.
(November 1, 2018, 1:22 pm)Food is very good. Both breads are made in house. I got the molasses and was very happy with it. Nice environment and the waitress was pleasant and friendly, always on good with our coffee refills. A bit on the pricier side, but that's what you get when things are made in house. Definitely will go again.
