Yangtze Restaurant

This is the best can't-go-wrong choice for Chinese food in the Ottawa area. It lacks the more authentic dishes that some of the other smaller local restaurants have but makes up for it in the quality and consistency of it's regular menu. Service is always quick and attentive. It's probably only one of three local Chinese restaurants that is banquet sized with great traditional decor. I've been there many times before with family and friends and will likely be returning there again.

Review for dim sum on a Sunday. Reasonable wait (10-15 minutes) at 1130 am. Good service, ambiance and food. However the selection could be improved. All the typical dishes were available but I also enjoy variety such as chives dumplings, etc. Would recommend for groups.

Good food and good price. Not the best dim sum spot I have tried though. The plates are shareable. We went with a group of 4 and ordered a few plates to share. We enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and some of the noodle plates, however I have tried better dim sum for better prices. Cool spot if you are taking a group out though!

Delicious food. Really good dim sum. Lots of selection on the menu. The service was a bit slow but still very good. Polite staff. Overall the restaurant was fairly clean, though the bathroom could have used a little attention.
