I received an Essence of Beauty gift certificate for my birthday. Wow! What a gift this turned out to be. When I met with Eva, I learned so much about my skin issues. She is so knowledgeable! Eva recommended OsmosisMD and Yonka to help correct my extremely dry skin. I can say in all honesty, these are the most effective products I have ever tried. I absolutely love them!

In addition to the products, Eva provided guidance about nutrition that contributed to improving the condition of my skin.

This review should have been done years ago. I have known Eva for about 4+ years now. I no longer live in Ottawa. I live in Toronto, but just to emphasize how great her quality services and products are, I will drive 5 hours to come see her once or twice a year to have her perform her magic (reduced pores, clearer/calmer skin, reduced redness, etc, etc).

The product line she supports has been heavily researched and you cannot buy it on your own online or anything like that. I have been the benificery of this seemingly rare to be seen product line. I trust Eva and am very happy with my results from her work and the products she sells for my daily skin routine.

Eva changed my life in an overwhelmingly positive way. I came to Essence of Beauty after trying almost everything else for acne, rosacea, redness, & oil and dryness combination skin, and nothing had worked (after almost 8 years of medical treatment.) This past Fall, I came to her after developing, for the first time, cysts on my forehead – this was due to the stress of university and many other contributing factors. The state of my skin was affecting my work, school and personal life and I was actually growing out my bangs to hide my cysts. I am now writing this review, 7 months later, with no active acne on my skin. The cystic acne has totally cleared up, and I am now just working on repairing some scarring and improving my skin health generally. Eva’s expert knowledge and treatments were the key to my success. Eva’s approach is holistic, so you have to be ready to make serious changes to your diet, but this is why it is so effective. I had been initially concerned about changing my diet because of how it would affect me at the gym (I had been eating a very high protein, bulk-style diet), but eating healthier and in accordance to Eva’s advice actually IMPROVED my performance at the gym. Apart from my skin healing, I also began to sleep better and had a noticeable baseline reduction in anxiety, which had been a major issue for me. Eva’s treatments are extremely effective and the products I now use are much gentler on the face than anything I had been prescribed or bought over-the-counter in the past, so my skin routine at the end of the day actually feels good. Thank you Eva for teaching me how my skin really works, and helping me understand how to maintain skin health. I am super grateful to have found Essence of Beauty and would highly recommend it to anyone going through similar issues because I know how it feels, and trust me, this really works!

I have honesty been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. I am a 22 year old student, who has been seeing Eva for quite some time now (2-3 years).I've been meeting with Eva for Acne treatments, which honestly erupted out of no where in my second year of university. I went from being a student who would rarely had a blemish or would contemplate purchasing face washes to looking for the quickest and fastest solution. From here I tried multiple remedies such as creams prescribed by doctors (further aggravated my skin) but I ultimately found that the best solution for me was facial treatments. I have been to see a good handful of skin care professionals to receive treatments and I can honestly say that Ava has surpassed each them with the guidance and effort she puts into her work. She truly cares for you and will work with you to achieve your goal and take the right steps to do so.

Now this wasn’t exactly a walk in the park for me, the first treatment I was told to pretty much eliminate booze, in specifically beer which was a hard no. But I can honestly say after cutting gluten (cheat once in a while now) and dairy for about 6-8 months my skin has not looked so good in years, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel as though it brought back some feeling of greater self-confidence in my day to day living.
