The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus

They are one the best hospitals in Ottawa. The staff are helpful, caring, and knowledgeable at the emergency department.

I was in emergency Thursday the 25th of June at 11:00. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. Very efficient, friendly and caring. Thank you so much I know you are working under very straining circumstances.

Very unfortunate timing, but I had to make my way to an emergency during the pandemic. I was a bit uneasy of having to go to a hospital during these times, but I have to say, Civic Hospital has done a fantastic job. They ensure adequate distancing between patients, screen everyone upon entering, and all the staff were just so kind and sympathetic despite these crazy circumstances.
The wait wasn't too bad, but please, only go if you truly have an emerg that cannot be handled at your GP or a local clinic. They are able to maintain these measures and allow enough space because of the number of people coming in. If you are unsure, please call Ontario Telehealth. Let's keep our hospitals and the staff safe.
Thank you so much to the admin staff, nurses and doctor who cared for me, made me feel as comfortable as possible, and who are risking their own safety for all of us.
