  Crosspoint is very good, but very traditional church. It has a lot going for it: it is new, large, diverse, Bible based and well organized. However, it is not for everyone. Almost all of the men were wearing suits and it was embarrassing to be so underdressed. So put on your "Sunday best" if you attend. Also the music is very good but very much mired in a very old music style. I.e. hymns. The Bible is preached but the translation used is the King James version. It sounds so odd, and I found it distracting. See the photo of a card they gave my 4 year-old!
  
  If you appreciate and value a very traditional church this may be a very suitable Christian community for you and your family.

  Carleton Baptist Church is a wonderful, caring church that I've been going to for many many years, and I've learned so much from it. I have never known a better church to go to. Pastor Michel and his family are a wonderful family who definitely loves the Lord and wants to do God's will. They are a blessing to everyone. I think that this is a great church for anyone who wants to hear a great message fully preached from God's Word. There is always room for more!

  We love Carleton Baptist Church. This is the church we attend whenever we visit the Ottawa area. We can be sure we will hear nothing but a solid gospel message while attending their services. God will surely continue to bless them as they continue in His work bringing souls to the Lord. If we lived in the Ottawa area this would be the church we would join. We hope to see you all again very soon!

  Carleton Baptist Church consists of the following:
  
  -A God-centered church where salvation through faith in Christ alone is preached. It is place of worship, where the music glorifies God. The congregation has classes for children, youth and adults, where all ages can learn God’s Word at a level of suitable depth. First and foremost, a personal relationship with God is sought, not the adherence to repetitive, religious rituals. Here, good works are encouraged to be performed for the glory of God, not for the approval of man.
  
  -A studious pastor of many talents with vision, ability and drive, who has a compassionate, thoughtful, hard-working wife with a heart of gold, together with delightful children, all of whom collectively form a prime example of a godly family (no pressure or anything; we’re all sinners). Throughout my many years of listening, my experience has been that the pastor strives to provide sound, practical, consistent, Biblical preaching/teaching in an unpretentious manner, with an emphasis on evangelism, discipleship and missions.
  
  -A congregation of diverse, imperfect, caring people, who generally welcome others with open arms in a non-judgmental manner, who try to serve God in some capacity with what talents or abilities they have—be it in the open or behind the scenes.
  
  -A number of empty seats awaiting your arrival. Why not visit Carleton Baptist Church?
