(March 24, 2019, 5:17 am)Small cozy Portuguese restaurant in Orleans. We were a large group and had a great meal here, lots of good options for everyone on the menu, and they were very accommodating with gluten allergies.
(March 3, 2019, 3:27 am)My wife and I were at the Caravela for Saturday night dinner. We had cod cakes, sausage caravela, lamb shank, shrimp & scallops, Portuguese egg tarts and creme brulee, along with wine and coffee. This is a better than average restaurant that offers a good selection of food and drinks, and excellent service. We highly recommend.
(February 20, 2019, 10:30 am)The service was great! The food was amazing! Real traditional Portuguese food! I had gone on a Friday after Valentines and the place was packed but they manage the place well so there is not long waits or food delays. I will suggest to call ahead as it is a small place if you know your a larger group or it’s a busy night.
(January 20, 2019, 5:43 am)This was an excellent restaurant. There aren't too many Portuguese restaurants around and regardless of the cultural origin of the food, this is one to try. The ambiance is nice, slightly romantic. It is small and popular especially on Thurs, Fri, Sat, so make a reservation. From the flaming sausage appetizer to the amazing cod dish as well as the shrimp and scallop dish we tried, we were thrilled with the food and service. And a couple Portuguese drinks to cap off a great meal out.
(November 12, 2018, 5:38 pm)Cozy little restaurant. Service was very good although plates took longer than expected to come out. Steak was good but would have preferred some 'sauce' on the side (wasn't offered). Would like to go back and try one of their seafood dishes. Prices are 'average'
