(March 30, 2019, 3:12 pm)Awesome family feel with a good selection of local beer. The food is superior quality to anything in a 20km radius. They have a feature flatbread and blackboard specials. Friday has a prime rib feature that I haven't tried yet.
Our usual server (we've now been coming almost weekly for a few months now) has been pleasant and efficient. They're really accommodating to families with kids, and have a children's menu as well.
They fill up fast for dinner on the weekends, accept reservations and have a really popular weekend brunch.

(February 23, 2019, 4:44 pm)Good food at a fair price, this place has been an institution in Richmond for decades. Parking goes quick and sometimes there's a short wait on weekends. Also the food takes a little longer on the weekend, which is the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars. Weekdays the service is super fast and the food is just as fresh as weekends, which can't be said for every restaurant in this city. Overall Royals is our family go to for breakfast, my brother's family even drives out from Nepean because they like it so much!
(February 2, 2019, 3:39 am)My lunch special was great! Roast beef and onion ring sandwich, spinach salad and pea soup. My wife's Cobb salad was not as good. The service was extremely slow. They did not check up on our meals and after ten minutes sitting after our meal we had to ask for the bill.
