The Grounds Café Stittsville

First time visiting The Grounds Cafe..pleasant vibe. Friendly staff. . Love the booths as well. Decor and art very nice..could use a little more art and maybe a cozy couch or two tucked away in a corner with more books etc. Just my two cents worth! I was there on a Tuesday afternoon..busy enough with a lunch crowd but lots of seating available. Bright and cheery. Will return!! ???? go check it out!!

Vegan options are labelled, and staff is knowledgeable. Equator coffee!!! And milk alternatives were avail too. Cute decor.

I really wanted to like this place, more options than quitters, but you'll never know it. Their menu is scattered around so you'll most definitely notice far more options after you've ordered. I am not referring to the round menus, but the four places you had to look to know just the drinks they offer (which still wasn't everything). Their food was well put together, but lacked anything to really draw me back. All that said if you know what to order you'll most likely not be disappointed.

Really great breakfast. Everything was excellent and very tasty. Looking forward to going back again. ...getting the food was a bit awkward...do we wait? ...is there table service?...also do we bus our own dishes.

Wow. Just look at that chili bowl. The croissant french toast is glorious with real maple syrup. There's a casual cafe/bistro feel here that's super casual for chatting, eating, or some casual working. It's the only cafe around for klicks and man does it ever fill a niche since it's surrounded by suburbia desert. Chili is amazing, coffee is great. Not a lot of seats so if it gets busy make sure you have a plan.
