(June 12, 2018, 11:35 pm)Have to say, that this area, just south of Ottawa, is so close to home that I shall probably never need to avail myself of Peggy hospitality - yet I am comfortable in writing this, as she and I have been communicating for weeks. She is nothing, if not hospitable and forthright of character .
Combine that with the incredible location: despite the suburban setting - complete with Hydro towers in the distance, when I visited, there was only one car that went by (around 8:30 to 9:30 PM) and to top it off, the one pic I did not take, was of the back yard. That forest glen alone is good reason to stay at Connemara - the birds are happy and the trees are just plain relaxing. If you want a quiet haven, while having to be in the Ottawa area, rest assured. Back for another visit - the leaves are out.
