(November 1, 2018, 3:45 pm)"Last great Szechuan chef in Ottawa Ontario and area"! Period! I have gone two other locations throughout the city of Ottawa, including Chinatown area, and Guo Qaing (chefs name) is the last great Szechuan Chef in Ottawa, in my opinion. He and his wife Lily have operated this particular location for over 20 years plus. I have known them for over 15 plus years and I can vouch that the Szechuan Chinese food prepared here is the best in Ottawa - opposed to the zillion of Mandarin type restaurants throughout Ottawa, which there are very very many of. This restaurant stands out distinctively for it's Szechuan type cuisine.
Lily and her husband operate the restaurant fully by themselves now and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try because it won't be there forever!
Definitely recommend the amazing "General Tao's Chicken", "Mu Shu chicken", their Hot and Sour soup is excellent, and many others!
