Take-out (only) soft serve with picnic tables and bike racks. First time trying the flavour burst which was excellent. (Mint with chocolate sauce). The plain chocolate cone was a very generous serving and made my traditionalist very happy

This place is such an awesome little soft serve ice cream stop. My only critique is this place was closed last year for a few months, and I could not find any information on what was going on late summer. There was nothing on Facebook, or posted on the signage, and the hours online still said they were open. Coming down and finding the place is closed when all the resources say it's open is frustrating.

This tiny ice cream stand makes soft serve treats and slushies. Flavors include vanilla,chocolate, and a swirl of both.

It doesn't offer as extensive a menu as a big outlet Dairy Queen would, but this one window stand still has a lot to offer for its size: standard things like milk shakes, dipped cones, standard toppings and come types, and even a new colourful fruit flavor swirl option. Only open in the summertime this joint is always busy. The wait times are usually minimal though.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it offers quality treats at reasonable prices. It's a neighborhood fixture that I hope will continue to thrive.

As a big soft serve ice cream fan in warm months, I've tried out a few different ice cream spots in the Kanata area recently. Brett's came out on top. Their ice cream has a great texture and plus they have my favourite - butterscotch dipped soft serve! Their flavouring on the soft serve could be improved, neither the vanilla or the chocolate taste particularly like vanilla or chocolate, but they are delicious all the same. I haven't tried their other ice cream flavours yet but I can't wait to. Definitely give Brett's a try!

Update: edited from 4 stars to 5 stars. In subsequent visits the soft serve has had better vanilla and chocolate flavour. My husband has also tried their sundaes and milkshake, both were fantastic. I would get their ice cream every day if I could!
