  I have had an absolutely amazing opportunuty to experience a jam session put on by this highly skilled musician. It's hard to forget 'Cronkite Percussion'.

  Mr. Cronkite taught my 7 years son Daniel drum through the past year. He is a great music teacher, an thoughtful and humorous person, and an amazing friend of us. We enjoyed visiting him every week. My son has learnt a lot from Mr.Cronkite who has great teaching skills and sense of music education. We always feel lucky to choose him as our son's first drum teacher. Thanks!

  My son has been taking lessons with David for two years, and every lesson he would always leave with a smile. Under David's coaching, he has won many music awards at his school and made it to a city-wide All-Star jazz band. David's expertise in drumming and his approach in teaching make him the go-to drum teacher. Highly recommended!

  First in the interest of transparency I have to say that David and I have been friends for many years and I've always known what a passionate and talented musician he is. Because of this he was the natural choice when my son said he was interested in learning to play drums. He started taking lessons with David a little more than two years ago and he has made great progress. My son always enjoys his lessons and leaves excited about playing. David is really good with kids and employs a variety of approaches and materials to teach both the technical and musical elements of drumming. As a student progresses he often uses a song based approach to teaching kids how to listen and understand how a drummers contribution fits in a musical context. if you or your child want to learn as much about music as drum technique check him out!

  It is easy to recommend Cronkite Percussion! David's expertise and enthusiasm for drumming are combined with a fun and encouraging teaching style. He knows his stuff well, has teaching aides all figured out, and patiently brings students along at the pace they need, with stories and variety in the lessons to keep things interesting. There's even a spot where parents can wait comfortably during the lesson. :-)
