This is a descent park although Krista Kiss park is worth the short drive if you have a few extra minutes. There is a large sand pit and the structure is good for a wide range of ages. The swings are generally not the main attraction here (although there's nothing wrong with them) and usually free so it was a great park when our son just wanted to chill, swing and people watch. The splash pad is great so long as your little one has some balance. There is a bucket that fills up and dumps on one side which will knock a new walker over if they're under it at the wrong time.
Awesome park for the kids plus it has a splash pad!
Splash pad opens around May 24, playground for the kids, tennis courts for whoever likes to play. If its busy, the sign says 30 min limit to take turns and play nice. I'vr rarely seen it this busy to be an issue. Garbage cans could use a little more frequent collection, try not to stand down wind of them on a hot day.
Nice new park with playing structures, sand box, water games, covert picnic table, and two tennis fields. Lots of well mantained grass space and parking space along the street.
Interesting play structure with a variety of things to do. The separate swing set includes a seat to accommodate those with special physical needs. Wood chips are the surface under the play structure and swings. There is also a large sandy area for children to play in. The splash pad offers only a few features. A permanent gazebo with single picnic table offers a shady spot. There is enough green grassy space to play running games, Frisbee, or kick a soccer ball. Many trees have been planted but are still too young to provide significant shade; it will be lovely in a few years. There is ample on-street parking on the streets adjacent to 2 sides of the park.
