East Side Mario's Kanata

Went for apps and drinks. The calamari and pizza rocked. Service was friendly but not intrusive. Highlight was the tall bald dude who came by occasionally to check up on things. Brent if I recall. Great guy.

Place is clean and COVID compliant. Would recommend 5/5.

Always love the warm bread and butter while waiting for the your appetizer, or main course.

I went with my family for my daughter’s birthday. In the beginning, everything was great. From one time to another the waitress that was doing everything nice changed her attitude. My wife’s food was full of garlic, and in the menu didn’t say about it. We told this to the waitress but she dismissed our comment. In resume: my first and last time in East Side Mario’s.

Couple friends and I ventured for lunch and we were NOT disappointed at all. One had the burger, another 10 inch pizza and I had the Sausage Peppers Penne. Had some good heat to my dish and it was just the right size for lunch. Bread was warm and tasted great as well.

Food and service were good but you'll get a better deal on Wednesday with the all you can eat soup and salad deal.
