Build-A-Bear Workshop

Gosh I love this place. Even as a 22 year old women I can happily walk in there, select a skin, stuff it, and they always encourage me to come back to my inner kid and do the teddy bear ritual which always makes me smile. Brought my husband there back when we were dating and it was his first trip and they made him do the teddy heart ritual. One of my most favourite videos and memory of him. Always has lots to choose from, a discount bin is always available, staff are incredibly sweet and kind and dont pressure you into buying clothing if you dont Invision a bear with clothes. None judgemental atmosphere and never really overly busy, unless it's a holiday and parents are out with the kids. Store is clean and well kept. It's the only one in ottawa I belive and it's a great one. They helped me make a dog with my deceased childhood dogs bark with the recording heart. Something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

The staff is very courteous and polite. The girl help us step by step. Although paying 75$ for a teddy bear is insane and over priced, there is something about it that your child gets attached to it instantly. Totally worth the experience and our kids faces and happiness.

I liked the place the employees where very nice and they guided me through everything and now I am so happy with my new stuffed animal
