Janet and Chris have been teaching our kids piano and guitar for several years and we are very pleased with their service. They are very patient with the girls which is great seeing as they teach people of all ages, not just children. The quality of the lessons is very high. We're also grateful that Janet and Chris are always willing to accommodate us when we are unable to make a scheduled lesson. Overall we are very happy with our experience and would recommend them wholeheartedly for music lessons.
Both Janet and Chris are great music teachers. They are very experienced and have lots of patience with children allowing each child to progress at their own pace. They are also very reliable, punctual and accommodating with make-up lessons.
There is an intelligent design around the creation and expression of music. Chris helps the student understand the musical architecture in the rhythm and texture of playing guitar. Over this first year of lessons I have grown especially in awareness and appreciation of the cognitive aspect of my playing this instrument. I credit Chris for my development as a musician and person who is present to the moment whenever I sit down to play. Thank you!
Our daughter who was a complete beginner, has been taking Piano lessons from Janet McCourt for more than a year now. In this time, our daughter has progressed rapidly.
Janet is always a professional and patient teacher, and our daughter always looks forward to going to her lessons every week.
Janet is very accommodating in scheduling missed lessons.

I have two of my boys taking classical guitar with Chris. He is a great teacher with an excellent sense of humour who really tries to engage with my boys. He sets a good pace that pushes them without overwhelming them. He is able to provide constructive criticism in a way that helps them improve each week.
