Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa West

Got a room with 2 queen beds for Canada Day weekend for a good price. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough. The bathroom was small with little room to put your toiletries and the fan wasn't working so the room would steam up very quickly. The fridge worked, more on the cold side since our fruit froze, but better than too warm. The continental breakfast had a waffle maker, 1 type of muffin, 1 type of gluten free muffin, hard boiled eggs, apples, and different breads and cereals. The food was not as good as the other Days Inn I've been to in Ottawa, but the room was less expensive too.

I was sad because the photos showed a sweet, large bathtub and I was looking forward to test it out. The hosts during the day were great, but at night when I asked for an extra pillow, i noticed when I got back to the room that it had fresh blood on it.. otherwise the place was clean and well accommodating.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Front desk staffs always pleasant and courteous. We like the services and definitely will stay here when we’re back to Ottawa again.

This hotel is in the middle of an upgrade . Having said that, the rooms are nice, and very clean.
The breakfast even though we knew it would a basic continental was an absolute Disaster. Truly terrible management on this part of our stay. We didn't even try to eat breakfast there the second day.
Bottom line is, the room was nice, so we would stay again. Just hope they get better trained staff.
