  The food was amazing! The staff are really friendly and I'm genuinely surprised on how fast the service was too. Would highly recommend coming here to try out authentic Chinese food! I would most definitely come here again.

  Food is served hot and is decent for a fair price. The staff were friendly but I felt as though we weren't always welcome. It's not my first choice for Chinese food.

  As a local to Barrhaven, I've been here now many times for the past year and my experiences so far have been good. It may not be the best Chinese restaurant in entire Ottawa, but in my opinion as a person that grew up with Chinese and Indonesian food, they do serve authentic Cantonese dishes with nice tofu dishes filled with shrimp paste or the several dim sums. I've been reading the several reviews regarding rude behavior but I think it's mostly due to the lack of refinement in the staff's proficiency in the English language that is misinterpreted as 'rude' which I encounter in other Chinese restaurants in the world as well. Place looks decent and in comparison with other Chinese establishments in the city on par. Nothing extraordinary, but not out of place either. It has my recommendation.

After finding an insect in our noodles from Golden Restaurant, I felt quite disgusted and could not eat nor feed the rest of the food to my family. With 4 children, eating out is a treat for us and not so much a regular meal choice so $56 later I felt very disappointed and therefore wanted to be reimbursed.
