Halibut House Fish and Chips

Wow! I called them tonight to order fish & chips for some folks at the long term care home I work at. The lady was so friendly on the phone and accommodated our needs. Everything was ready quickly and they really made our night with their kindness. The food was delicious, very generous portions!

My husband and I just had a takeout from here. Haddock & Chips, Cod & Chips, gravy, mushy peas. Absolutely delicious. The batter on the fish was perfect, light and crispy, the fish was tasty and perfectly cooked. Chips were crispy but not over done. Very good gravy and the mushy peas were surprisingly authentic. Been in Canada for 16 years (from the UK) and these are the best fish and chips we've had here. Good job we don't live very close. If you're not sure, try them, you wont be disappointed.

Awesome place to have FISH AND CHIPS! The staff are wonderful, the cooks are the best. By far the best fish and chips I have had!!!! The service from the waitresses was very accommodating and pleasant. Definitely recommend eating here if in the Ottawa area. Thank you all. Made our stay very enjoyable. One satisfied customer.
