Merivale Fish Market

Excellent seafood in Ottawa. Who knew? We’ve bought from their seafood store next door and wanted to try their restaurant. Every Friday and Saturday, there is a sushi chef who comes in to make sushi. Not cheap but high quality fish! 30$ for a place of three different rolls: salmon avocado roll, California roll and a spicy salmon roll.
Hands down the BEST Cesar’s drink in town with a nice juicy shrimp on top of your glass. Calamari was crispy fresh and not chewy at all. A tiny place with tiny menu but they do such a good job. They don’t take reservations and it’s always packed so you might end up waiting a while. Lobsters and scallops are huge. We will be coming again and again!

Very very very good. Small place so expect line ups. You know it's good when you see the type of people who eat there. People who know good food.

Very good fish and chips (I got the cod special) and ridiculously good shrimp and crab spring roll - this is a genius creation. Everything fresh, including fries and coleslaw.

This cozy restaurant is amazing! Every Friday and Saturday night they offer sushi and it is super delicious and fresh. If you stop in you must try their spring roll - it's the biggest spring roll you have ever seen and super Delicious!!
