Great service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The team at Midas Baseline is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure your repair is done properly and affordably. I have been going there for the last 5 years and would definitely recommend them for all your maintenance and repairs!

Midas Muffler (Baseline Road location) is VERY HONEST. I took my car there and they diagnosed it. They did $600 in repair (replaced a leaky gasket and old spark plugs). It was needed but didn't resolve the problem. They had said that maybe I would need a catalytic converter and after the first repair said that the catalytic converter must have been damaged as a result of the leaky gasket.

They replaced the catalytic converter and that still didn't resolve the problem. They returned the car to me, suggested that I see a senior mechanic at Subaru (specializing in Subaru repairs) and didn't charge me for $2,000 of work and parts! They did take out the new catalytic converter that wasn't needed and was very expensive (and re-installed the old one), but still they did a lot of work and did replace the gasket and spark plugs, plus their time.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Midas (Baseline Road beside Tim Hortons). They are mystified as to what the problem is, but they said the car isn't repaired so there is no charge, in spite of the parts and time that they spent. They also insisted that Subaru contact them if they have any questions, and gave me a copy of the "invoices" for the work done (that were waived) so that Subaru would know exactly what has already been tried.

I am so grateful for their kindness. Most mechanics would have charged for AT A MINIMUM the first repair and likely also their time for putting in and taking out the catalytic converter.

Midas Baseline are good mechanics but sometimes you need a specialist, just like with doctors. I highly recommend them!

The service here is beyond amazing. It’s nice to walk in here knowing that you’ll be treated with respect and not get ripped off. After being ripped off at a different garage, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to trust any other garage. Baseline Midas has showed that they are extremely trustworthy and caring. They wouldn’t do anything that they feel isn’t necessary. I’ve been coming here for the pay year ever since my friend recommended them to me. Every time I come in here it’s always an amazing experience and I always leave feeling great about the service I received.
I would 100% recommend baseline Midas to anyone who’s in need of a mechanic. They’re really good at what they do and help in any way they can to ensure you leave feeling happy.

Hassle-free booking, the part we needed was ordered right away, and the whole repair was done in 1.5 hours! Moreover, the parts and labour costs are significantly cheaper than other companies, and they always have coupons online to sweeten the deal. Quick, effective, and stress-free. Steve, the manager, is very efficient and knows his stuff. Will definitely be taking the car here in the future!
