  They were knowledgeable, listened to what we wanted, were clear about the contract, and did the work well and on time. The person who wrote the contract was the same person who was on-site inspecting the work. This was better than the previous (well-known) roofing contractor we had used, and (unfortunately) better than most of the construction industry. Can't ask for more than that.

  We recently had our roof re-shingled by Ottawa Home Exteriors. A couple of years earlier, we had them repair a problem with a light tube (skylight) in our sun room. Impressed with the workmanship and the great service on that small job, we did not hesitate to engage them for the roofing job. Their quote was very competitive and we were impressed with the prompt response to calls and questions during the hiring process on both jobs. Workmanship on both was excellent. Workers showed up when scheduled and were always polite and helpful. Both jobs were completed promptly, once started. Clean-up after the roofing job was excellent. At all times, the company’s owner and manager, Kyle Dotto, was just a phone call away. He addressed any concerns promptly and courteously. We have no hesitation in giving this company a five-star rating.

  I would recommend Kyle and Ottawa Home Exteriors. We received a couple of quotes from various roofers, but Kyle's stood out as the best replacing EVERYTHING with new (others were content to keep existing flashing, etc which when reading their warranties was not covered as it was older). He kept the area clean which was important as we have young children and pets. He answered all questions quickly and professionally. Five Stars all the way.

  Ottawa Home Exteriors is by far the best roofer I had. Top notch quality work, only recommend what you need, never over sell, reasonable price too. They have a strong and experienced team that will get job done in a timely and professional manner. Sometimes they are hard to catch, but I guess all good contractors are like that. Just like a good restaurant will be always packed.
