(August 22, 2018, 10:47 pm)A nice place for fishing, a picnic or a paddle. Very popular and the parking lot fills up quickly. Shale rock type beach. Rumoured that ticks are bad there this year but I gaven't seen any.
(August 17, 2018, 1:12 am)Good place to eat a picnic but kind of small. The beach is all rocks plus the boat launch is shallow to the point where the entire car has to be in the water to launch
(June 9, 2018, 8:36 pm)Beautiful little nook. Mostly a boat launch but there is some room for swimming off to the side. Although note: it's all rock no sand so bring some swim shoes to protect your feet. Has 2 well kept(clean for what they are) public restroom outhouses and two fairly large structures to have a shaded area for lunches.
(May 21, 2018, 5:47 pm)A great spot in the middle of Kanata that you can throw your boat in the water quickly and get out on the river. Lots of parking and even a nice spot to picnic at with a shaded gazebo if it's really hot. One downside is dogs are not welcome. I bring mine anyway and just pick up his poop, no one's ever said anything. Wheelchair parking available
