They have a great variety of Cristhmas trees and other plants. Fantastic to go!
We love this place. Thier toddler time on Wednesdays are great.
I went to Log farm on Canada day weekend, we had a pleasant experience my children ages 4.5 and 3 Loved the place and interacting with farm animals, it was a great escape out of the city and only 20 mns from down town Ottawa.
The new owners are lovely and very friendly, farmers market was great with variety of vendors. I would definitely visit this place again and recommend it too.
The only negative thing is the pond, i was expecting to be able to see it properly or sit on the shore, its closed and the road is not easy with stroller.
Very friendly and informative staff. Everyone was smiling and great with the kids. Beautiful scenery, interesting old structures, cute animals, activities for kids, a fun tractor ride, and really cool to see the maple syrup making process and get some maple snow taffy. You could spend all day running around here and still be discovering charming little details and things you missed on your way out. Great for a fun day outdoors.
Great place to visit with children young and old. A small log farm in our proverbial backyard of South Barrhaven , nestled in the woods off Cedarview. We enjoyed taffy on snow after a hayride out to the bush where the sap was flowing into buckets. All participants were allowed to join in the collection of the sap, which turns out 1 gallon of syrup for every 40 gallons of sap boiled. It takes 80 gallons to produce 1 gallon of taffy and even more to produce the equivalent of 1 gallon of maple flavored cotton candy. All this was described in detail on the ride out to the bush by the wonderful guide. Upon our return from the bush, we walked around the site taking in the historic nature of the Log Farm, from the first family who lived there with 9 children. One could go on, but while the sap is running, get out there for yourself and take your family for a great treat, one that's sweet.

(613) 292-1219 Craving a sugar bush breakfast experience, my sister bff and I decided to hit up the Log Farm since it's really close, open on Sundays and you don't need reservations. If you're from Ottawa (and Canadian at all really!) you know heading to the sugar bush is a sign that the winter is fading and spring may not be here, but it's on ...
