Best oatmeal scones in Ottawa. Good coffee, pleasant surrounding, a nearby bookstore and an attentive staff. It works.

I come to this location regularly with my partner. We both speak about how we could just get a scone and soup and be satisfied... and then laugh because we both know how much we love the sandwiches. Portions are the perfect size and you’ll leave being full and happy.
The soup is always delicious and I’ve yet to have a sandwich/scone that I didn’t like. The attention to detail in the recipes makes every one special. It makes every dish just elevated enough that you know you couldn’t make it at home, while still providing the comforts and nutritional value of a home cooked meal.
10/10 would recommend.

Went for brunch with my family on a saturday morning. Seating was a bit of an issue. Tables are small and the place was packed. The food, however was great. I really really enjoyed the scones.

Very great atmosphere for relaxing with friends over an extended brunch. That servers don't clear the table both let me leisurely enjoy my company but also grated on my desire for clean spaces. If the worst thing about it is I had to move my own dirty dishes then I'll be back.

Scone and Latte were very good. I appreciate they have a water decanter as well. The real plates/cups is a great touch. They did mess up and forget to bring one of our orders and we had to remind them we were still waiting, but the situation was corrected quickly. Also very reasonable prices (under $10 for a scone and a latte). Good atmosphere. We were there over lunch and had not problem finding a table
