First Place Renovations

After the flood remediation, we realized we needed a total renovation of our very old outdated kitchen. We called on Jim and he and his team took on the project. A great new design was drawn up by Tasha that was not only nice to look at, but very functional. The team, Kevin, Kyle, Travis and Scott tackled the project. They worked diligently with respect and professionalism. Jim was always around for the numerous answers we needed. Andrew did a superb job on the cabinets. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would recommend this company to anyone. Thank-you to everyone that was involved.

First Place Renovations recently renovated our entire third floor in a heritage house. Not only did Jim, Natasha and the team find creative solutions to a challenging space, they matched in look and feel the quality of the rest of our home and improved its energy-efficiency. We really appreciated that professionalism of the team as well as Jim’s availability to discuss points big and small as the work unfolded.

We feel like we are in a new home in the neighbourhood we love. Jim and his crew renovated the kitchen and living room of our 1970's house in 2018. Jim takes an active role in making sure his clients are happy. For example, his suggestion to remove an interior brick wall, which we hadn't considered, resulting in 6 more inches of cabinet depth on one wall. Tash's design expertise made the daunting task of choosing backsplash and flooring less stressful with beautiful results.

First Place Renovations will be creating a mud room and workshop space in the fall of 2019 as the next phase of work for us. We trust the quality of the workmanship and First Place Renovations to make our house a dream home. The whole family loves our new kitchen. If only the living room could be kept tidy enough to have pictures taken...unfortunately Jim can't help with that dream!
