(July 20, 2020, 1:35 pm)Tried the NCC cafe in the park. The offerings are ok. The service for food slow and extremely expensive. Sausage on a bun was $9.00. Too much. The ambiance in the evening at sunset is fantastic, so I guess you pay for that. But you can have that by walking around the park and not frequenting the cafe.

(June 14, 2020, 9:01 pm)Strathcona Park harkens back to old times. I believe it's the most beautiful park in Ottawa. That fountain at the top looks really expensive, and seems European. It's clean. It's friendly. If you're looking for a good old fun and relaxing park experience, Strathcona is what you're looking for.
