Biagio's Italian Kitchen

Always good as usual ... 1st dining experience since Covid hit and food and distancing were both done well.

This was our first post-lockdown visit to Biagio's after outdoor dining was allowed to resume and it was comforting to return to a familiar place even if it was an altered (outdoor) setting. Service and food were great, as always. We tried and enjoyed a new drink concoction which had been invented during the lockdown. During our meal another table emptied and I was reassured to see the cleaning process in-between sittings. Our seats had an excellent view of the outdoor garden where herbs and leaf vegetables are being grown (future meals).

We ordered your lovely Mother's Day dinners provided yesterday as curbside pickup for my Mom, my husband and myself. Delicious as usual, for sure! We all enjoyed our meals so much and especially the dessert (can I possibly get that recipe?).

I also wanted to compliment the little 'special touches' for Mother's Day! The little packets of wildflower seeds were such a meaningful idea, with a quote on the envelope about 'a Mother is like a Flower'. Even the reheating instructions paper, with a quotation from Emily Dickinson (about Mothers) on the bottom was so pretty and thoughtful.

Thank you Biagios - we will be back again when life gets back to 'normal'

The food is crazy good. Homemade fresh. Best ingredients. Very authentic. The lasagna was delicious. We are from Omaha, Nebraska and visited family in Ottawa for Canada days. Searched for a unique, indigenous Italian restaurant. This place was exactly what we wanted. Delicious homemade food. These little Italian restaurants are slowly disappearing because of national chains.Go here. Eat here and make it a regular place to eat authentic Italian food in Ottawa. It is an Ottawa original.

Beauty atmosphere, great service everytime I go.
The specials change daily and I would highly recommend any special they have on. All the food is so delicious!!
