I just went for an anniversary, so I don't know about the "inn" aspect or the usual atmosphere, but the food was delicious and decently priced, and the decor and building were rustic and inviting, like eating in a log cabin.
Every time I come here the service is amazing and the food is exceptional! a great place to dine with family and friends.. I love this place! Thank you staff at Mill Tale Inn!
First off, I love the decor and atmosphere. Incredibly beautiful setting. I enjoyed the fish special yesterday when we went for our first time. BUT- our waitress had to be asked 3 times for gravy we ordered with our initial order, when we received it our food was 80% done. Also some of the fish pieces were way OVER salted while some weren't. If these things didn't occur I would have no problem leaving a 5 star review.
Absolutely a great family place to eat. The food is fresh and tasty. Real food. The dining area overlooks the Otter River that runs into Lake St. Clair. The trees are gorgeous right outside the windows. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a Tillsonburg hidden treasure! My photos don't do it justice.
Mill Tales was very rustic, but the food was homemade comfort food. So delicious. Get there before 5 for the ribs, (Saturday night), or get the seafood or prime rib dinner that we ordered. So good! Buffet breakfast was great, get there by 10, prepare to queue, but so worth it. Prices are very, very reasonable. ????ed & awed!!
