Check in was easy, front desk staff were friendly and they had fresh baked cookies in the lobby. The suite was definitely one of the cleanest and most comfortable rooms we've stayed in. The decor was very nice and everything worked perfect. The TV is pretty large and had many channels. The bathroom looked brand new although it was renovated 4 years ago we were told. The breakfast had a very good variety of food and drinks to choose from. We would recommend this hotel 100%.
Clean, moderately priced hotel. Located close to restaurants and shopping...and hockey arenas. Anthony at front desk (night shift) was more accommodating than other staff...should be on day shift.
Pool is small, but adequate. Hot breakfast also included...served its purpose well with adequate choices.
The hotel was clean and nothing looked outdated. The staff were very nice. Soundproofing was non-existent though, you could hear every word that was muttered in the hallway even with the TV on. This wasn't a deal breaker since everyone seemed to be in bed by 10 pm but if you're someone who needs to be asleep before that you may find this hotel to loud for you. I also didn't understand why I needed to formally check-out, I'm use to just leaving my key cards in the room or in a drop box at the front desk and walking out. Waiting around 10 minutes just to say I'm leaving seems archaic.
This place was very nice with comfortable beds and a couple of nice extras. The front desk worker was nice too, but I couldn't understand her half the time and had to repeat myself multiple times.
There were some hockey teams there that made lots of noise, but were (thankfully) quiet at night.
My family and I had a great experience during an extended stay over two weeks as a result of a relocation for work. We ended up staying in one of the two bedroom suites with a separate living room and kitchen. All of the the staff from the front desk, the breakfast staff, to the housekeeping staff were very welcoming, friendly, great with my young daughter, and made us feel “at home” during our stay and the transition to a new area. This is hard to duplicate at other hotels and is an indicator of the positive culture at the Best Western Woodstock. The rooms are very clean. I stayed on two separate occasions, one night for work a week before our extended stay and both rooms were very clean, tidy, and more than adequate. The complimentary hot breakfast that is offered daily in the lobby is a fantastic benefit of this hotel alone. Without a doubt this would be my choice of accommodations in the Woodstock area for a single night or an extended stay.
