My daughter attended Minecraft camp during Christmas holidays. Overall, the experience is positive. The councilors are very patient in answering the questions and helped the students to develop the required skills. My daughter enjoyed the camp. To teach discipline, one day the entire class was not allowed to play in the last half hour, when someone did not follow the rules. I think it is a good concept to teach about being a team player is important. The reason I gave four stars is not related to the camp itself. I had difficulty finding information on the website about who is the founder and what are the values founders believe in, etc. This is an important information for the parents.
We've tried 3 Stem camps so far. Our 9 year old granddaughter has really enjoyed it and seems very comfortable with the technology. We found the admin team very helpful. When we got stuck, they got on it right away. When they didn't see her online, they even called us to make sure she's ok. The instructors also got online well before the starting time to help them with the technology. Someone even called after the camp on the first day to ask for feedback. Thanks for your great team....
We first joined when COVID lock down had us limited on activity and stuck at home. My son was so excited to finally have someone to ask questions to and collaborate with other peers! The leaders are respectful and patient and really great with the kids that I feel good letting him work solo. Truly a great program and he’s already asking when the next one will be!
My kids have done some of their camps in the past. A great way for kids to spend the summer. Previously, our kids have gone to daycare or babysitters for the summer, but they were never mentally or physically tired at the end of the day. By the time work ended, and it we started they nightly routine, they still had so much energy that it made the nights tough. I would recommend these programs to anyone who is looking for Day Camps for their kids!
STEM camp is honestly great in my opinion, the staff genuinely care about the well being of the little campers and they do their best to make sure that the campers are not only are having fun, but also work to make sure that parents who send their children here are getting their money's worth. Kids that attend STEM are not only having fun, but also more importantly learning. The material that STEM staff bring to the table is well structured, and is prepared well in advance. The material itself is optimized in terms of difficulty for each age group. I highly recommend STEM camp to any parent having doubts on how to make your child's summer experience the best yet!!
