(August 11, 2018, 4:33 am)Turner's Farm Market has obviously changed hands since I used to live down that way 12 years ago. Back then all the produce sold was grown on their own farm and now it comes in from all over the place. I bought a dozen cobs of sweet corn when I stopped there and I think the sign said they had brought it in from Arkona Ontario. I was very disappointed after I got it home and found it was quite old and actually contained a lot of rotten kernels. I was so glad to get back home and go to my local farm stand and get some nice fresh young corn with no rotten kernels and just full of flavor.
