Bayview Rest Resort

I've been there for 2 summers in a row and I'll do the next year for sure . I highly recommend you to make your reservation cause some people do it even one year before . The staff are so nice , friendly and helpful .
You can literally walk 30 steps and you will be into the water enjoying this clear lake . Pretty close there is a public park and you can take your kids to the playground. Ideal for a romantic scape or a family trip .
You can buy your foods and drinks at Walmart in Huntsville which is on your way and save some money but also there is a grocery store 5 mins away .

We spent a week here and it was such a nice getaway. We had access to a private lake where we went swimming, canoeing, they also had a giant unicorn to relax on in the water. Due to covid we were advised to bring our own sheets and things we needed. Price was fair I think the best price around the area especially since we get to enjoy a private lake. Owners are cautious of how you treat their property which is understandable because we saw many other guests taking advantage by bringing way more people than they should and leaving tons of garbage and messing up the rooms. Unacceptable to treat someone place like that. Overall I would stay here again!

Beautiful and scenic view, we arrived before check in time, owners were very accommodating and welcoming. They gave us directions to shops and nearby restaurants. Cottage was cleaned and spacious, the beach was private and enjoyed the water sports. Can't wait to visit next summer.
