This location is currently closed during the covid-19 pandemic but last year when we went there the girls had such a blast. If you want to see a Massasauga rattlesnake. In a safe environment they have two of them at least in glass enclosures where your kids can see what they need to watch out for when they're o in nature. There are lots of Interactive Learning stations and one of my favourite things that taught my girls a valuable lesson is that cooler that had been very beat up by a bear that want to get inside.
Compact place. Close to the lake. Nice exhibits. Limited restaurant hours and very limited food choices.
Very beautiful place and setting s
Attended little demonstration of fox snake, also rattle snake among others

So much beauty!! So much to Do! Very bike friendly, some places more than others. A lot of wildlife, swimming. Close enough to Parry Sound that you don't need to waste an entire day to restock! Had so much fun!!
We were welcomed with an open door by Jeremy at the entrance. He took the time to greet us and explain the exhibits we would see along the way. Then we went to the gift shop where both attendees were extremely friendly and helpful.
