You will not be disappointed! Whether you live in the area or are just passing through, this restaurant is a must. The food is top notch and made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and the owners are great people! Very friendly and welcoming.

Don't miss the pulled pork -- it's smoked all day onsite and served with homemade BBQ sauce and coleslaw on a bun. Perfection!

They've also got a good selection of craft beers, and the patio out front is cute in the summer.

It's become our go to, and we've had nothing but great meals and service each time. Two thumbs up.

If you are looking for a truly unique experience this yurt “retreat” is one of a kind. The authentic Mongolian yurts are beautifully appointed with cozy beds, wood burning stoves & elevated yet inviting furnishings which would suit any occasion whether it be a romantic getaway, family or group of friends weekend, or just a quiet single experience to embrace the solitude, the yurts are the perfect venue.
The owner’s Jake & Joanne were the best hosts for our “girls weekend” away. They took great pride in offering this surreal experience and made our stay so memorable with both the yurts, as well as the delish food served at their on-site restaurant Pit Stop 518. *smoked ribs, pork belly bites & onion rings are to die for !
There were so many thoughtful details in the yurts. We loved the ambiance of the lanterns for light, having a crackling fire right by your comfy bed, plush slippers, blankets, and honourable mention for the custom built outhouses that have cedar shavings as a natural deodorizer which elevated any outhouse experience I have ever had !
I can’t wait to return to experience every season at the yurts .

Everything about this place is fabulous! The friendly, accommodating hosts; the mouthwatering eats (their homemade bbq sauce is to die for!); and the unique experience of staying in a yurt. With regard to our yurt experience, literally everything was thought out, from the bigger “wow” factors, to the tiniest details; the owners made sure that all necessities for an enjoyable stay were included! Even if you don’t do the yurt, I would recommend grabbing a bite at their restaurant if you are passing through. What an incredible experience, thank you Jake & Jo!

Everything about this place is magic. The friendliest staff/owners ever, scratch-made food that is mind-bogglingly delicious and a location that is 10 minutes away from a cell signal dead zone near Algonquin. You guys would be legends in Toronto, hats-off to doing incredible things up North. We'll be more motivated portaging out of the bush next year when we come back to see you guys. Make sure you order the pork belly bites, smash burgers and coleslaw. Best slaw I've ever had.
