Mikisew Provincial Park

Beautiful little park. Not too big. Nice dog beach. Water crystal clear, beaches sandy. Love this park.

If you're looking for a technical and tight lined disc golf course play here. If you want to practice your disc golf putting try their putting course. That will make your putting game 100 times better.

Although we only went for the day it was worth it. The beaches were large enough not to be over crowded and I thought the water was clean and warm. My wife thought it was a little silty which made it not as clean in her opinion. The showers were really close to the one beach as well as parking which made it great for a quick shower before leaving after our visit. As for camping there...the sites seemed decent in size and from what we could see had some decent privacy from each other. One really cool thing just outside the park was parking at a highway bridge where there was a beach and large children's playground. Go for a week or just a day...you will not regret it.

Terrific park on a beautiful lake! The dog park was awesome for my puppy. Will definitely visit again!
