Ontario Provincial Police - West Parry Sound Detachment

Ok first off let me say that I am not a fan of the provincial police system. With that being said I believe that the good must be reported when you see or hear of it. An young officer with blond curly hair saw my friend outside the bar called Rumorz in Parry Sound and saw that she was not dressed for the weather. He actually asked her if she needed a lift home and he did just that. I feel this young man went far beyond his duty to keep her safe. In my mind he is a shining star for doing what he did. He kept a beautiful soul safe and did a service to the entire community. I would really like to know who this officer is and thank him personally. If you do read this please comment. Your simple act of kindness made a huge difference. You my friend ROCK.

The morning of Tuesday, April 11th with out question started out with a bang! A person ran into the back of my car as I was at a stop sign. I moved over to the side anticipating the driver to pull behind me but they continued on.
Then from the police dispatch to the care & concern from Cst. Danielle Shonk was simply exemplary. Cst Shonk also informed me that another driver who witnessed the collision followed the driver until the police arrived. Other concerned drivers also called in.
Being new to the area how can I tell you all how much that care meant to me. With my little dog unharmed in the back of the car & all that kindness from my new community l'm feeling very blessed. ....even the dents to the car aren't bothering me.....much ;)
