Tim Horton Memorial Camp

I went to this camp in 1996 when I was 10yrs old n stayed for 10 dayz... It was THE BEST experience EVER... It was the first time I rode a plane.. ( a private jet) .. There were pow wows n with real aboriginal natives.. it felt like home.. We went on an amazing adventure n learned alot of things.. The staff were angels...We went tubing,water skiing.. u name it 🤣🤣🤣.. We had a talent show in which my group did blackstreet... I was McLyte... No Diggiddy no doubt..

Awesome place. Great staff. Amazing work they do.

One of the coolest places I've taken my kids. The staff are some of the best people to have around children. Kids had a blast with their school when we went, they've went back 3 times now. Amazing place for kids to learn outdoor skills and social skills (learning manners) also great for socializing with lots of other kids from different backgrounds and communities.
Food is amazing, facilities are top notch and clean. The best part is NO WI-FI, NO TVS, NO PHONES ALLOWED. I've been there a couple times now as a male chaperone with my kids school. Not a single kid, girl or boy, complained about no internet or tv at night out throughout the super busy days we spent there. The staff are all really energetic motivated mature individuals who all love what they do, not one of them was there "just for a pay check".
Anybody who meets them would understand and agree. They just don't make young people like that anymore.
Every student left with more confidence and had an amazing time.

This was an amazing experience and opportunity for me. I recommend it if you want your kids to have a fantastic time and if you want to get rid of them for a week. 10/10 👍👍👍
