(July 31, 2019, 2:42 pm)July 2012 we visited Riverview Marina while staying at our family fishing camp on an island in the French River. It's the only place that has internet service so every few days we would go to the marina to get back online to check email and posts. There is a small store that offers snacks, drinks, ice cream, etc, besides the usual fishing gear. I really enjoyed seeing all the old wooden boats. That year a houseboat was docked there that was built by the gentleman who was living on it at the time. He noticed me admiring his boat and invited me onboard. Such a treat to see his beautiful craftsmanship. Great place to hang out and see the sights.
