I've done perhaps a dozen trips with Black Feather, with friends, family, strangers who have become friends. Just back from a phenomenal trip on the Dumoine - but that's what I've come to expect. Very professional guides, who pay incredible attention to detail without making a big deal of it. Looking forward to my next trip!
After fifteen trips with Black Feather I eagerly look forward to my next one - the Broken Skull River. Great name!
All my trips have been wonderful, because of incredibly competent guides, great food, superb scenery, friendly fellow trippers, and a good balance between the peace of nature and moments of excitement.
I've been canoe tripping with Black Feather for 25 years during which I've been on most of the Northern and Southern river trips they offer, often more than once. These trips have ranged from long weekends In Ontario to three week expeditions in the NWT. From trip planning and organizing to safety, guiding and equipment I've consistently found them to be exceptional. I can't imagine tripping with anyone else.
My friends and I have engaged Blackfeather since 1982. That's not a typo. We have paddled with BF across Canada. It is consistently high quality, professional, has great food and is safe. From beginner to expert, I bet you will love it. Go make some memories!
Looking forward to another Black Feather adventure this year if Covid co-operates. Went on the Nahanni last year (and 26 years ago also) and it was great trip. Guides were great, food was wonderful, the group was lively and the scenery spectacular. I've never been disappointed on a Black Feather trip.
