Karen & Roy were awesome hosts.
We were kindly upgraded to the Monteith Suite which is the attic & you have the floor all to yourself. Plenty of light makes the room nice & bright and you can see Lake Rosseau in the winter time.
The place was always tidy and the breakfasts while not the most diverse in variety over a 2 day stay, was still a large spread with fruits, snacks, juice the main course and of course coffee or tea.
Overall a beautiful stay and an excellent choice 😊
We just spent the night at Rosseau Retreat and it was fantastic. You are in a beautifully restored historic home with wonderful hosts and the best homemade breakfast that you could ask for. My son is volunteering at Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and they kindly invited him to have breakfast with us. We will definitely return!
Excellent accommodation - personable hosts - very tasty breakfasts - we will definitely return and recommend to the B & B.
Every thing was amazing there.
beautiful nature ,awesome breakfast ,dreamy room👌👍
My husband and I decided to visit the Rosseau Retreat for our Anniversary this summer. This beautiful B& B is conveniently located right in the heart of the villiage of Rosseau , right across the street from Crossroads Restaurant and minutes away from Lake Rosseau. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, perfect for a romantic getaway. Karen, the host was so welcoming. She made us feel like home the second we set foot in her house. She was very informative about the area, offering suggestions on how we could make our quick trip and memorable one. Her attention to detail in her home was not ignored. She embraces the antique charm of the house as well as the spirit of Muskoka. Her soaps, artwork, coffee and baked goods all came from local vendors. The fire pit being built in the backyard is gorgeous and is sure to warm everyone up! We were so pleased with our visit to Rosseau Retreat, we will definitely return!
