Great for boating and fishing, not really for "camping" sites are so close together that you can hear your neighbors snore in their tents.
Good park. One of the smaller parks with good fishing. Very packed this year! Some sites are super small. Site 6 is the best family site!
As other reviewers have noted, this park is somewhat small and cramped, with little privacy between sites, and lots of sites were not level. That said, it's probably perfect for boaters / anglers who come for the fishing. The sand beach is great for kids and adults, with nearby flat rocks for sunning. We had fun paddling our sea kayaks, but Sturgeon Bay is 99% cottage country with few public islands nearby for picnicing. We found one 2.5 km away.
Good service and services (toilets and potable water) and access to the bay, however the campsites are incredibly crowded. There is no privacy from your neighbours, and anyone that is making noise at night is easily heard from many of the surrounding sites. An ok spot for families, but I would never return here. There are other provincial parks that offer the same amenities but give a better overall impression of 'wilderness'.
