Grundy Lake Provincial Park

Grundy is a great park for hiking.

This is a perennial favorite place for us to camp. We've been here multiple times and have stayed in three different campgrounds. This last time in White Oak. There are many good campsites. One of our favorite things about the park is the abundance of serene flat water canoeing on multiple lakes. We like walking around the campgrounds and the Swan Lake hike is our favorite.

My family and I ended up here seemingly by accident after being turned away at another park. In the end we were pleasantly surprised! Although our visit was short we ended up doing the Gut Lake trail which was well marked and has some stunning views. Then we ended up at one of the many beaches which was equally as nice. Now we are planning a proper visit back to this park sometime next year when we can take in the rest of what this park has to offer.

Lovely place to camp

Great getaway park. Family fun. Three no motor lakes. Great for canoeing and hiking. Well treed and plenty of spacious sites with good privacy. This is one of our top ten places to camp and canoe.
