I have an annual membership and its my favourite place to meditate, but the area is secluded and lately police officers come up and ask you questions, today an officer came and parked behind me, approached my car and says"ma'am so you are just enjoying your day... I said yes officer is there a reason you are asking, he says no nothing wrong", he stood in a fighting stance and if to serve and protect is the reason for this I felt anything but safe and served, I felt harassed and singled out. I said I felt clautorphobic lately and he immediately suggested that I see a doctor, I come to this park every single day, this has been my sanctuary and I am being cornered. I am a woman and being cornered like that was the most disturbing thing thats ever happened to me.please ensure that there are cameras every where, there was no reason whatsoever for the officer to do what he did, I was parked sitting in my car trying to meditate.there were two large buses and a number of cars, he did not even go towards them and only cornered me, very disturbed and perturbed.
Lovely place in the city, to get away from it all. Many areas to choose from, well kept, occasional wild life adds to the fun. GREAT family place!
Hi.very relaxing and enjoying time. Thanks God that our Canadian government helping us to have great time in our living life. Thanks
We visited the Toronto area on a cool, sunny day in late September. This park may be very busy in summer, but it provided us a quiet, peaceful place to walk and enjoy the lake and woods. The only "fly in the ointment": the path that looked to circle the entire heart-shaped lake was interrupted by a housing development
Beautiful park with one of the best Fall settings for pictures. My kids and I came here last October. Noticed they have a tree-trek adventure but haven't tried it yet. Will certainly drop by next year in 2019.
