St Andre bessette has a great school community but all the rules enforced are a bit pushy like we can’t play tag without hands off policy, I agree with the no fighting rule but touching for a game of tag is different. Also kids are getting on the wrong busses especially younger kids, there are 500+ students in the school and if you dismiss all of them you can at least make sure they are getting home. Also there have been issues with replacing teachers with supervisors with no teaching experience, most of these supervisors are hard to understand and still the students get punished for not completing their work. There are also a lot of good factors to the school, as in a decent amount of new software and technology, high number of opportunities for students to join sports teams, etc. I think this school would be great for your child because the school community is very welcoming and there are a lot of students so if your child does not make friends easy there is a wide variety.
