My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with Hira during the birth of both our daughters! She is very knowledgeable and was there with me every step of the way to answer questions and provide support/advice in the most beautiful way before during and after the birth of both my daughters. She also did a wonderful job helping my husband feel included and competent during the whole process! She is a very gentle and compassionate person who is able to anticipate the needs and concerns of new mothers. I would without a doubt recommend Hira to everyone!

I was unsure about doula services but Hira explained her scope of services very well for me as compared to a midwife. I was glad to have her with me before and during my birth as she provided me with great resources pre-birth and good breathing techniques to manage pain. Would recommend her to anyone looking to have that intimate support during their pregnancy and labour!

My husband and I have never experienced a prenatal class quiet like this! The ones they provide at hospitals just comprise of what to expect until delivery and all the interventions you will be provided during. Hira coached us on how labor can be empowering for us along with what we can expect after delivery as we enter into parenthood. By the end of it, we had a good idea of what our rights were and what we have a choice in for the pregnancy and after delivery. The class was carefully customized to our needs. Hira was my doula for my first baby. I had absolutely no idea going into pregnancy, labor and delivery about anything child related apart from what I saw on tv. I thank Hira the most for educating me about my rights and choices as a mother. I also thank her for educating me on all the pros and cons of various decisions i had to make during labor and delivery that most new mothers do not know about. She was very sensitive and understanding to my emotional roller coaster post delivery and spoke to me with kindness and empathy. I had the birth experience that I hoped for and truly thank Hira for her guidance all the way ❤️

I would highly recommend using Hira as a doula. She gave me great pre-birth support (especially for my first child) and was amazing during both labours. She was essential in both of my births to help make me comfortable with the pain by using different methods of pain management and breathing techniques. She was a constant source of support and advice and knowing she was there put me at ease. After my first, I knew I couldn't do another birth without her. Her postpartum services were also essential in positive mental health for me in the days after the birth. I was very happy with the services.
